Places To Visit

One of the most notable features of the area is the Elan Estate, which is within a few miles of Glaslyn and covers 180 square kilometres. It has 12 Sites of Special Scientific Interest, a National Nature Reserve and many rare species of animal and plant besides the 180 species of birds which live there.

In every direction, there are a number of interesting and historic towns within an hour's drive of Glaslyn.
