If approaching Glaslyn from Rhayader take the A470 road for Newbridge-on-Wye and Builth Wells. Glaslyn is on the right of the road 2 ½ miles from Rhayader. The entrance is marked by two white stones.

If approaching Glaslyn from Builth Wells take the A470 road for Newbrige-on-Wye and Rhayader. Glaslyn is on the left of the road 6 miles past Newbridge and 1 ½ miles beyond the "Vulcan Arms Inn" and petrol station which is on the left. The entrance is marked by two white stones at the base of the gate pillars.
