Welcome to Glaslyn Estate

Situated on the banks of the river Wye, in the middle of Kite country in the heart of Powys, Glaslyn is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday, either just to unwind or to partake in a number of activities on our doorstep.

Glaslyn has four delightful holiday units (two cottages and two chalets) situated in idyllic surroundings on the eastern side of the Cambrian Mountains on the banks of the river Wye.

Spend your time fly fishing (salmon, trout, grayling), bird watching, walking or cycling in the Elan Valley and the surrounding hills or just relaxing on one of the most beautiful stretches of the upper Wye with a chance to see an otter in the river.

Glaslyn Estate is located between Rhayader and Llanwrthwl.

The holiday cottages are open from the 1st April until the end of October. This is a stunning location to relax and unwind.

The owners of the estate are Paul and Susan Harrison who purchased Glaslyn in the spring of 2007. You are assured a warm welcome, peace and tranquility.
