Welcome to Glaslyn Estate Situated on the banks of the river Wye, in the middle of Kite country in the heart of Powys, Glaslyn is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday, either just to unwind or to partake in a number of activities on our doorstep. Glaslyn has four delightful holiday units (two cottages and two chalets) situated in idyllic surroundings on the eastern side of the Cambrian Mountains on the banks of the river Wye. Spend your time fly fishing (salmon, trout, grayling), bird watching, walking or cycling in the Elan Valley and the surrounding hills or just relaxing on one of the most beautiful stretches of the upper Wye with a chance to see an otter in the river. Glaslyn Estate is located between Rhayader and Llanwrthwl. By visiting the various areas of our website, including the many pictures, you will hopefully get a feel for what a holiday at Glaslyn is like and be able to plan all the things you would like to do during your stay. To help you discover Mid Wales, we have included a number of useful links. The estate has been bought at the end of 1012 by Jonathan Stephens and Chee Lio. Please note that we are in the process of organising ourselves so elements of the website are being changed and are under construction.
